Thanks for visiting Christmas in Alabama. We are already planning on what additions we will make for Christmas 2012.
We are often asked if we would accept donations. While the cost of lights and electricity keep rising, we consider this the cost of our hobby, and the light show is our gift to the community. We don't do it for money, we do it to see the smiling faces. If you still feels compelled to give, we would like to ask instead that you consider supporting Christian Radio at Goforth.org
Sadly, Santa was not available at the light show this year. Traffic was too heavy causing a dangerous situation for the children. We really loved meeting the children and allowing the parents to take pictures, but saftey must come first.
Here is a quick clip of our Snowman's Toy Factory from 2007.
Snowballs are shoveled into the factury chute, where they are processed
and come out as Teddy Bears. The bears go down a conveyor where they drop
into a box, which is then tossed into the train for delivery. The conveyor
belts aren't working as I'd like , since they were built
with these lights. After the seaon, we will have to rebuild the belts,
as we already have rebuilt the snowflakes and snowballs.
